Recapping the Grand Opening

The grand opening for AOTEAROA was a huge success as the mall filled with many boutiqualiscious babes and handsome guys to accompany them! DJ Shoshana Foxdale rocked us out to some awesome tunes while particle artist Tomo Ritt of Inspire Space Park lit up the sky with a fireworks show that is like none other.

Guests danced and shopped the night away while indulging in bubbly and lavished with free gifts provided by several of the mall's shoppes.

In addition to the awesome sales and gifts, most were in eager anticipation of the announcement of the winners of the BOUTIQUE BABE CONTEST! The contest brought in 34 amazing entries posted on the Lingerie Boutique's Flickr Group . The sexy models showed off great diversity of style and sophistication, making it quite a close call for the judges. But at long last, our top 3 winners were released!

2nd Place went to Eve Quintessa wearing LB's Sequins & Diamonds Lingerie

And 1st Place went to BELLA SLADE with her gorgeous rendering of the Anastasia Lingerie in Pink Sapphire!

Bella, our first place winner will be receiving the following prizes:

• a *NEW* lingerie set named after her and will appear in vendor ads
• a $3000 gift card for use in the Lingerie Boutique
• added to the Lingerie Boutique Modeling Pool for events and live modeling opportunities
• personal photoshoot with Skytower Studios (value $1000)
• winning photo will be prominently displayed in the Lingerie Boutique mainstore for one month.
• model will be featured in a future ad for the Lingerie Boutique in SCRUPLZ magazine!

Leanne also had a surprise Designer's Choice winner for the evening.... Congrats to Brie Pinazzo for submitting her beautiful photo wearing LB's Natalie Chemise Set in red.

The winners as well as all entrants received some very special gifts provided by both Leanne Bebb, owner of the Lingerie Boutique, and contest sponsor, Trinetty Skytower of Skytower Studios.

To celebrate this "makeover" and Grand Opening of our beautiful new mall and KreationZ store, we're kicking it off with a party of GRAND proportions!

Caution: Change Ahead

For anyone that knows Leanne Bebb, owner and creator of the Lingerie Boutique, this woman is never satisfied with the same ol' same ol'. Leanne embraces change which is a good thing... So it comes as no surprise that she wanted to do a major makeover on the shopping center where the Lingerie Boutique currently resides.

As the Lingerie Boutique has expanded and grown over the last several months due to loyal customers, a little more aggressive advertising and well certainly a gracious store owner that frequently lavishes her group members with special gifts and $$ to spend (never hurts!) - so has the need for a larger shop and one that meets with the style and sophistication of her brand. The brand has also expanded and then branched off with the addition of AURA which originally began as a clothing line within the Lingerie Boutique. Next came KreationZ Shapes in collaboration with her partner Daveboy Blackadder. And most recently a partnership with Carrie Bridger of Carrie's Lingerie to offer a larger variety of lingerie to meet the needs and desires of customers hungry for more!

Ms. Bebb decided to call on the help of builder Mike Denneny to create a custom retail center that would give a WOW factor. Well Mike delivered, and the new shopping mall build is nothing less than fantastic! The Lingerie Boutique mainstore is a grand attraction flanked by the new KreationZ Shapes store and AURA Fine Fashion for Women on one side as well as Skytower Studios Elite Photography Gallery on the other. In addition the mall is the home to Allessandra Skins & Fashion, B&G Shoes and Bisensual Tattoos.

We couldn't simply bring in such a stylish new shopping center without a fresh new start for the mall itself. Call in the creative mind of TheDingo Hudson Designer for AVENUE Magazine and RL graphic designer. Mr. Hudson brought forth a new name and logo for this born-again shopping destination derivative of Ms. Bebb's New Zealand heritage. And therefore welcome... AOTEAROA Luxury Retail as the new home for the Lingerie Boutique!

And in keeping with Leanne's fondness for change, I am sure in no time at all... we'll be seeing more expansion, more shoppes, and certainly more customers!
